Whilst it’s fair to say that Nintendo have made some of the best party games ever produced and there’s some cross over here, but, it is Nintendo!
From the NES and N64 consoles right up until the insanely popular Switch, they continue to rule the world of video games so there’s just so much to learn from their game design and game feel.
Mario, Nintendo’s unofficial mascot, has appeared in over 200 different video game properties such Donkey Kong, Mario Kart and Mario Party. This mad little plumber has gone onto asserting himself as the best-selling video game franchise ever.
Shigeru Miyamoto, Mario’s creator and Nintendo’s game director and producer, has some incredible insights and well worth checking out too.
