In this video we’re talking all about game design and the MDA framework for game analysis.

The MDA Framework has existed since the early 2000’s and its’ goal is to breakdown and explain what makes games fun. Many mobile game designers will take inspiration from other successful games and their mechanics and attempt to put a unique spin on it.

But how many of these clones actually succeed?

This is where the MDA framework can help by identifying why certain features will work and why some might just not hit the mark.
